I love this! And it really does matter and make a difference how you start your day. I get up at least 20 minutes earlier than I probably have to so that I can spend the time before leaving the house in an un-rushed, less-frenzied way. I have two kids and have spent the last eight years helping other people get ready, fed, and out the door on top of what I need to do for myself -- it's worth the few extra minutes of sleep for me to do all of that in peace.

The first thing I do upon waking is hit the floor for 1-2 minutes of stretching -- it's not complicated, just cat and cow, then child's pose, but it makes all the difference to how my body feels when I do finally stand up and start to move around. I wish I could do Morning Pages... I've considered a "morning list" instead but, see aforementioned children: I'm just not at that stage of my life (yet).

Before I go to work , I like getting up early so I don’t feel rushed , I relax eating my breakfast and watch tv with my dog and then take him for a walk , if I don’t do this my day is ruined mentally, plus I look at my cell phone to get inspirations and aspirations
